A rare Home Based Insurance role, fully immersive within the claims and property claims markets.

Working as an Injury handler you will proactively manage a portfolio, of moderately complex Personal Injury, third party motor claims and associated damage claims within a personal authority amount. You will validate policy indemnity for each claim, ensuring that the correct insurer status applied and manage and negotiate a limited caseload of development files on referral.

This role offers Hybrid working where you can work up to 4 days a week from home after completing the first 2/3 months. They operate a 37.5 hour week, Monday to Friday.

We are searching for candidates with experience of working within Motor Insurance claims and with a knowledge of the FCA requirements and Fraud controls. Candidate will have good communication skills and you’ll be a people-person with excellent customer service skills.

We are seeking candidates that have gained some experience in insurance – perhaps dealing with FNOL, or working as a claims administrator or handler. Within this role you will be trained to proactively record and process a portfolio of vehicle damage claims. You’ll be liaising with policy holders, witnesses, third-party insurers and solicitors to assess and agree the liability, all the way through to conclusion of the claim.
