Barker Munro Recruitment are delighted to be working with this established and well regarded insurance broker who are currently looking to fill the role of Account Handler with their Self Drive Hire Team.

The main responsibilities of the Account Handler are as follows:

  • Assist in achieving New Business targets
  • Liaise effectively with the New Business Account Director to ensure an appropriate strategy for winning new business
  • Undertake market exercise to establish most competitive terms available
  • Prioritise and handle all work promptly and accurately
  • Handle all queries in a professional manner
  • Produce accurate and professional documentation at all times
  • Accurately cross-sell products from other Divisions

Essential Skills & Requirements:

  • 2 years experience providing specialist advice in the insurance market
  • Good negotiation and broking skills
  • Knowledge of Self-Drive Hire insurance would be a massive advantage
  • Good level of technical insurance skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
