Barker Munro Recruitment is pleased to be working with this successful insurance brokerage who is looking to add an experienced Account Handler to their Commercial new business team.

As Commercial Account Handler you will be responsible for dealing with a variety of commercial risks such as Commercial Combined, Shops, Office, Tradesman, Liability and Fleet. You will be dealing with both New Business and Existing Business and you will generate new business by utilising the clients existing database, lapsed client data and previous not taken up quotes. You will prepare presentations for insurers and will go out to the market to obtain the best quotes for clients.

To be considered for the position of Commercial Account Handler you will ideally have 2-4 years Commercial Insurance experience and be comfortable handling policies from £100 – £500- in premium. A good technical knowledge of general commercial insurance is needed and previous experience handling a sales pipeline would be an advantage.
