Barker Munro Recruitment has a brand new role for an award winning Broker for a Team Leader to support the Customer Service Delivery Manager in maintaining high levels of customer service to all clients, especially the Company’s Key Account and Elite clients.

You will be required to assist in developing key account proposition in conjunction with Renewals Director and Team Leaders. Specific duties and responsibilities include negotiating and delivery of MTA and claims settlement, premium collection from client for MTA and daily liaising/ communications/ administration for clients handled.

The Commercial Team leader will personally be responsible for servicing of an allocated selection of larger and more complex accounts, handling of mid-term issues on renewal business and placement of some new business.

In addition, you will have staff responsibility and liaise with the HR team on employment relation issues, look after team including absence management, conducting 1-2-1’s, encouragement team members and identifying areas of new training or skill checks. You will get involved in the hiring processes and new team member training.

We are seeking applicants with a solid background in Commercial insurance broking with experience of running a team within an insurance brokerage. You will be professional, have excellent communication skills, be self-motivated in the working environment with a positive and motivational approach. Knowledge and understanding of OpenGi management operating system will be an advantage.
