Senior Commercial Account Manager



My client is a well-established insurance broker looking to bring in a commercial insurance account manager to drive the commercial book forward.

The ideal candidate will be an expert within the commercial insurance market and someone who wants an exciting challenge of building a book of business from the ground up.

You will maintain, manage and develop the commercial department. You will build a sales plan. Be responsible for the results of the department and develop a book of new and existing clients.


– Develop the region and lead the business development activity
– Use MI and market trends to drive strategy
– Identify target firms and develop a sales strategy
– Develop process and structures with intermediaries to improve their sales conversion rates
– Ensure delivery of contact/relationship management strategy to maximise business results
– Develop an appropriate business plan to maximise sales within the region
– New business acquisition, handling the complete sales life cycle

This role will be responsible for actively growing and sourcing new business. You are an outstanding communicator with exceptional negotiation skills and the aim to achieve.
