Barker Munro recruitment is delighted to be offering this exciting commercial insurance account handler opportunity with a large national broker based from their Maidstone office, supporting their specialist team for the administration of clients’ insurance requirements, including general enquiries, renewals, mid-term adjustments, obtaining quotations and invoicing of premiums. 

Dealing with SME clients, you will have a passion for providing excellent service to your clients and supporting the Account Executive. You will focus on the Financial lines market which will include Professional indemnity, Cyber and D&O.

Ideal experience will be experienced from the commercial insurance broker market You do not need to have had exposure to Financial lines as they will train but you do need Commercial insurance knowledge e.g commercial combined/office risks.


This company will encourage you to study for the CII qualification and offer a strong support network. You will have the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines and have good negotiation and broking skills. They love candidates who are ambitious and with excellent communication skills.

Working Monday to Friday, this role offers free parking and hybrid working with three days in the office and two from home. As the role is hybrid, you will need to be able to commute to the office during the week. You will receive an impresive benefits package and development plan for your ambitions.
