Commercial Account Handler

Barker Munro recruitment, the Kent based specialist Insurance recruiter are currently working with successful broking group, who are now looking to add to their commercial team to help them continue their impressive growth plans.

This broker would like to talk to you if you have at least 2 years general commercial insurance broking experience, and it would be a distinct advantage if this was with a particular emphasis on the SME market (though this part is not essential), and are looking for a self-starter who will be comfortable going in and growing a commercial book of business.

They provide a working culture that is close knit and friendly, but professional and hardworking at the same time and they aim to deliver a fantastic service for their clients at all times.

You will be responsible for the servicing of new and existing Commercial Insurance clients, assisting the Execs to manage a portfolio of monthly renewals by negotiating, broking and administering them.

This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic person who has gained at least 2 years Commercial Insurance experience, who would like to expand their skills and knowledge as this broker are renowned for their ongoing training and development and pushing staff through the CII qualifications. As such this represents a great opportunity to join a Broking group that are genuinely going places.

You should be able to demonstrate a good grounding dealing with commercial insurance products, possessing a confident telephone manner and be able to work with clients at all levels.
