About the Role
Underwriter
Barker Munro Recruitment, a leading Insurance recruitment agency in the Kent and surrounding regions, is working with a fantastic insurance business who are currently looking to add to their commercial underwriting team in Kent with the appointment of an Underwriter.
As an Underwriter you will work closely with the team on a variety of risks through profitable underwriting of commercial risks across the Commercial Market risks focusing mainly within the renewals area. You'll be able to build strong relationships clients and deliver excellent service as a regional underwriting expert.
To be considered for the position of Underwriter, you will be able to demonstrate experience of underwriting property and or liability risks and be able to develop relationships across a variety of stakeholders. Your knowledge and experience will have ideally come from an insurer background but there is a consideration that this experience could also come from commercial broking or within the delegated authority markets.
