This role requires confident underwriting within agreed authority levels, with an emphasis on negotiating and maximising business profitability through effective decision-making.

In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to Loss Adjusters who handle major loss and liability claims. Key responsibilities include preparing reports—tying and formatting them—as well as liaising with various experts such as lawyers, forensic scientists, surveyors, and damage mitigation professionals. Additionally, you will assist in managing the adjusters' claim diaries.

For this superb career opportunity, we are seeking applicants with either personal lines or commercial insurance with a professional approach and ambitious attitude. You should be able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines and have excellent communication skill

Fantastic opportunity where you will be dealing with SME clients, you will have a passion for providing excellent service to your clients and supporting the Account Executive. You will focus on the Financial lines market which will include Professional indemnity, Cyber and D&O risks.

Barker Munro recruitment has a rare opportunity for you to cross over from Commercial broking into Underwriting within this expanding team. You can also be considered if you already have underwriting or delegated authority experience, of course, but it is not essential.

If you have OIC portal experience and had exposure to liability, indemnity and some PI claims handling – you’’ll be a perfect fit!  is ideal. You will be an excellent communicator, assertive and enjoy providing customers with peace of mind.
