About the Role

Compliance Officer

Are you a highly organised, motivated and ambitious professional looking to take the next step in your compliance career? We’re searching for an individual to join a leading insurance business as a Group Compliance Officer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the company’s compliance requirements and ensuring the business is compliant with all applicable laws and regulations. The role requires you to assist in setting up, monitoring and maintaining adequate and appropriate internal systems and controls to ensure the Group meets its regulatory requirements. You will develop and maintain an internal risk management framework to monitor, mitigate and report on risks.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and knowledge:

- A strong understanding of applicable laws and regulations relating to Compliance
- An analytical mind-set and the ability to identify and mitigate risks
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to develop creative solutions
- An understanding of the principles and practices of data protection
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience within a compliance role is highly desirable.

We are seeking candidates with previous experience in a compliance and/or governance who have worked with Financial services/Insurance. You will be highly motivated and be able to work remotely. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels using a variety of media. Applicants must be an effective, willing and enthusiastic team player, be self-motivated with the ability to act on own initiative and have the ability to investigate and make prompt decisions.
