Insurance Manager 

We are working with a specialist global business who is currently looking to add to their group insurance function with the addition of an Insurance Manager to support the growth and development of the insurance program.

The role will support the Head of Insurance & Captives in the development and delivery of the global insurance Programs taking ownership of selected insurance programs and providing practical advice and actionable insurance and risk financing insight on coverage, risk transfer, claims and insurance related business decisions. 

As the Insurance Manager, you will be able to demonstrate experience from within a corporate insurance environment emanating from a brokerage or from an in-house risk/insurance function, multinational broker or insider who is keen to take on a broader remit and ownership to further your career.

The position will supply you with the platform to perform and be comfortable moving between technical insurance issues, commercial decisions, stakeholder discussions and managing the insurance program and it’s requirements. 

You will demonstrate skills in organisation, being proactive, the ability to work independently whilst demonstrating good technical insurance understanding if all the nuances associated with various insurance programs and policies ideally within the UK and internationally. 

The role will certainly suit someone who is a self-starter who is comfortable working independently as the role will be remote based, but with some travel into London for meetings at Lloyds or with clients on a monthly basis and also with some European travel during the year when required. 

This is an exceptional insurance role that will offer excellent exposure to a variety of elements of the insurance industry. The business has a substantial global corporate insurance portfolio and covers areas including Casualty/US Auto Liability, Cash in Transit/Specie, Cyber, D&O, Crime/PI, Employment Practices, Aviation, PTL and a number of specialist risks, together with the captive insurance arrangements in place.
