Are you an experienced third-party or personal injury claims handler looking to advance your career with a dynamic and rapidly growing insurer? Barker Munro Recruitment has opportunities to join a specialist Personal Injury team for an award winning Insure.
As a Personal injury negotiator, you will manage a diverse portfolio of personal injury claims from the initial receipt of medical evidence through to successful resolution. You'll be responsible for effectively negotiating with clients, suppliers, and third-party representatives, ensuring policyholders are kept informed and supported throughout the claims journey.
Your investigative mindset will be essential in gathering facts and assessing evidence to build strong claims cases. Excellent communication skills will enable you to clearly convey information and manage relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage a portfolio of personal injury claims submitted via the OIC/MoJ portals.
- Negotiate effectively with customers, suppliers, and third-party representatives.
- Identify potential fraud indicators and ensure prompt referrals of complex claims.
- Manage inbound and outbound communications, ensuring all case files are maintained accurately.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in handling motor or some exposure to personal injury claims.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
