Due to their strong branch growth, another opportunity has arisen for a Senior Commercial Underwriter to join this highly successful Commercial underwriting team.

As they continue to embarked on a successful expansion across the East Anglia region, they have an exciting opportunity for someone to land this role which is ideal for a Commercial Insurance underwriting professional who enjoys relationship-building and delivering tailored Insurance solutions to a bespoke panel of brokers. They have exceptional relationships with major Brokers in the region (and UK wide) and this is your opportunity to have the freedom to underwrite in an environment where they want to trade and write good business.

You will evaluate and underwrite a variety of Commercial risks, with a focus new business and trading with brokers. This position involves collaborating closely with Brokers to structure competitive insurance solutions that align with the Company's risk appetite and meet every client’s needs.

As a Senior Commercial Underwriter your main responsibilities will include:
• Assess and underwrite risks for new business with clients and in line with company guidelines
• Negotiate terms with Brokers to win and retain business
• Maintain and develop strong relationships with Brokers
• Analyse market trends to ensure competitive and profitable underwriting decisions

To be a successful Senior Commercial Underwriter you will demonstrate:
• Proven experience within Commercial Insurance underwriting markets, with particular emphasis on Property/Casualty classes
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship building skills
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

This is also a role that you are able to perform both working remotely from home and the office whilst also visiting brokers in the region, therefore it would be highly desirable that you live in the Essex or East Anglia regions.
