Commercial Underwriter
Tunbridge Wells (hybrid)
C £30,000 - £35,000
Barker Munro recruitment has a great opportunity to join our team of Underwriters in a friendly office, underwriting commercial insurance risks and negotiating rates for new and existing business.
Hybrid working available (3 days home, 2 days in-office post-training).
Key Responsibilities: - Provide excellent service to Partner Brokers and clients. - Drive business growth and expansion opportunities. - Collaborate with the team to meet volume, income, and quality targets. - Ensure compliance with local procedures and FCA regulations.
Requirements: - Experience in commercial insurance, especially in Employers Liability, Public Liability. - Background in Delegated Authority or Schemes is a plus. - Relevant qualifications (e.g., Cert CII) or a desire to obtain them. - Strong customer service, communication skills, and attention to detail. - Proficient in Microsoft Office, with knowledge of Acturis preferred.
