Barker Munro recruitment, Kent’s leading insurance recruitment agency, is working with a fantastic insurance brand who have a well-established office in Kent and who are now looking to add an Insurance broker to their team.
As an insurance broker in a small team of other brokers, you will work closely with more senior members of the team to dealing with mid-term and policy adjustments, invoicing, accounts queries, preparation of admin documents and preparing documents as and when required/instructed by the more experienced members of the team. You will also speak to policyholders and insurers on the phone regarding the cover in place and answer and deal with any queries on the policy.
To be considered for the role of insurance broker, we are looking for you to possess good administration skills, solid customer service skills and ideally some knowledge or working within an insurance environment although this may not be essential at the lower end of the salary bracket. The insurance experience you may have gained could be within broking, underwriting, administration, customer service or claims. You’ll be IT proficient and good at organising your day and workload.
There is also a possibility the role could suit someone returning to work and is looking to fit their job around school times, so flexible hours is a consideration.
