Liability Claims Negotiator

Barker Munro Recruitment has a great opportunity to work for a leading Insurance organisation as a Liability Claims Negotiator. You’ll manage a portfolio of Employers, Public, Property Owners, and Products Liability claims from first notification to settlement, ensuring regulatory and company standards are met. Most cases handled will be EL/PL related injury cases and TPPD.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle liability claims up to £100,000 (and higher) from start to finish Investigate, assess, and negotiate settlements Maintain accurate records and data integrity Ensure a customer-focused approach Identify potential fraud and escalate when needed Support team performance by meeting SLAs Suggest process improvements and support audits

About You:

Experienced in EL/PL related injury claims and liability principles Strong interpersonal and time management skills Progress towards CII/ACII or similar qualification preferred Good legal and insurance knowledge
